SeekOut MCP Candidate Actions: Contact, Export, and ATS

From contact retrieval to ATS pushes, SeekOut MCP lets you act on candidates directly in your AI chat — without switching tools or tabs.

Finding the right candidates is only half the job. SeekOut MCP lets you act on them without leaving the conversation. Once you've identified candidates you want to engage, you can retrieve contact info, draft outreach, export lists, push to your ATS, save to Recruit workspaces, and compare candidates side-by-side — all in plain English.

All actions respect your existing SeekOut permissions and credit limits. SeekOut MCP cannot edit or delete any existing SeekOut data. Actions that consume credits (like contact retrieval) will reflect your organization's current balance.

Get Contact Info

Retrieve verified email addresses and phone numbers for candidates directly from the conversation. Contact data is sourced through SeekOut's verification layer and billed against your organization's SeekOut credit balance.

Contact retrieval consumes SeekOut credits. The number of credits used depends on the type of data returned (email vs. phone) and your plan. Check with your SeekOut administrator if you're unsure of your organization's credit balance.

Draft Outreach

Ask your AI assistant to write personalized outreach messages based on each candidate's profile and the role you're hiring for. The assistant reads the candidate's background — their experience, skills, and current role — and crafts a message that speaks to them specifically, not a generic template.

You can request a single message or ask for drafts for an entire shortlist at once.

Export to Spreadsheet

Export your candidate results to Excel or Google Sheets. The assistant compiles the relevant profile data — name, title, company, location, skills, and any evaluation notes — into a clean, shareable file.

Push to ATS

Send candidates directly to an open requisition in your connected ATS without opening a separate tab or tool. SeekOut MCP supports Greenhouse, Lever, and other integrated ATS platforms. Your candidate's profile data maps to the appropriate fields in your ATS automatically.

ATS push requires a connected ATS integration. Contact your SeekOut administrator to confirm which ATS systems are integrated with your account and which requisitions are available.

Save to Recruit Workspaces

Create new SeekOut Recruit workspaces, populate them with candidates from your search, and share them with your hiring team — all from the conversation. This keeps your sourcing organized and makes it easy to hand off a curated list to hiring managers or coordinators.

Saving to Recruit workspaces requires access to SeekOut Recruit. If you're unsure whether your account includes Recruit, contact your SeekOut administrator.

Compare & Shortlist

Ask the assistant to rank candidates, compare two or more profiles side-by-side, or build a shortlist with supporting rationale for hiring manager review. The assistant evaluates candidates against the role criteria you've defined and presents results in a clear, structured format.

SeekOut MCP operates within your existing permissions at all times. It cannot access candidate data you don't already have permission to view, and it cannot modify or delete any records in SeekOut or your ATS. If an action is blocked by your permissions, the assistant will let you know.
